The purpose of the Situational Assessment is to assist individuals in identifying any potential “barriers to employability” and to develop plans for overcoming those barriers. In addition, this assessment allows for the identification of strengths and interests that can lead to career development.

  • Skills they already have that can help them find a job
  • Personal strengths, limitations and barriers
  • Areas they need to develop and improve upon

Situational Assessment is a comprehensive on-the-job assessment and evaluation program tailored to the individual and the referral source. The program is typically 20 days long and assesses:

  • The employability of the participant in a variety of areas
  • Physical endurance and work tolerance
  • Co-worker relations and other work behaviors
